This Wednesdays (Whole of May) #Follow4Indycar group for the year is...
Is an open house all about the Month of May, be it Indy 500 or GP of Indianapolis. Give a mention to drivers, teams, crew, fans, sponsors... Anything or anyone good to follow for May!
Is an open house all about the Month of May, be it Indy 500 or GP of Indianapolis. Give a mention to drivers, teams, crew, fans, sponsors... Anything or anyone good to follow for May!
So, how does it work?
- First of all you will need a Twitter account. The rest is easy...
- Each Wednesday, especially during the lead up to race weekends send out a tweet to your followers.
- As an extra for race weekends, we aim to do a fan based #Follow4Indycar in the lead up to the start of the live TV broadcast, around 30 minutes beforehand.
- Use the hashtag #Follow4Indycar at the start of your tweet - this means all of your followers will see the tweet.
- List around four or five Twitter users who you suggest as good follows for your own followers, much like the normal #FF but this is for us Indycar fans, and more can be found by searching '#Follow4Indycar' or by clicking the hashtag in a tweet. Too many names and you lose the effect of noticing a different user who you do not already follow.
- Try to mix up who you list, include drivers, teams, fans, media and bloggers in the same tweet, anyone who isn't familiar to the eye will jump out, say compared to a list of popular drivers.
- Add #Follow4Indycar to you Twitter bio, this will list you in the people search when they click it.
- To keep things fresh, every few weeks we will concentrate #Follow4Indycar on different areas of Indycar, be they drivers, sponsors, tracks, media, crew, etc. Details will announced at the beginning of the week.
- Follow @Follow4Indycar on Twitter, we will keep you up to date with news on the groups for each week, as well as following back.
- Add your own #Follow4Indycar Twibbon to your Facebook and Twitter profile pictures
- Suggest a follow group for each week by sending me a tweet @Follow4Indycar.
Any questions send me a tweet, or to suggest a group - @Follow4Indycar or use the contact page
Thank you for your continued support, and hope you all enjoy the final races of the season!
